About ALJ

The ALJ Foundation, Inc. was created by LaToya Jewell and her sister-in-law, Britney Green in remembrance of Antonio Lamar Jewell. The ALJ Foundation is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of the youth in our community. We want to continue to allow Antonio’s legacy to live on by supporting the community and the kids he had taken under his wings. He had a love and a way with children, teens, and adults. The ALJ Foundation will assist with educational needs and engage in community outreach.

Antonio was the Associate Pastor at Thankful Baptist Church located in Stephens, Georgia. Growing up Antonio played sports for Oglethorpe County Schools and later became a little league football coach. Later in life, he started his own trucking business, ALJ Trucking, LLC. Antonio drove log trucks for the majority of his life. Antonio was married to LaToya Jewell and had three sons and one goddaughter. Antonio gained his wings on February 12, 2024.

The family is dedicated to keeping his legacy alive and giving back to the community in remembrance of Antonio Lamar Jewell aka “Pootie”.
